Philosophy + Adoption Process
We can’t wait to help you find the right best friend for your family!
-
What can I expect when I adopt an animal from Pet Network? You can expect a warm Adopters Welcome approach to companionship where each adoption is filled with resources to set an adopter up for success. For more information about adopters welcome, click here.
-
Is the animal that I am adopting altered and/or vaccinated?YES! Every animal that leaves our care will be microchipped, dewormed, given flea/tick prevention, spay/neutered, and vaccinated (based on age and length of stay).
-
If I am interested in adopting an animal from you, can you hold them for me?No, unfortunately we do not place holds on any of our animals and all animals are on a first come first serve basis.
-
Why are some animals priced higher than others? Some animals may have a higher adoption fee to help support other animals in their journey to finding a home.
-
What is Pet Network’s commitment to their animals?Pet Network is dedicated to placing all healthy and safe animals into loving homes. We remain committed to these animals and will never euthanize an animal due to time or space constraints. In instances where an animal is suffering with an incurable or untreatable condition with no likelihood of recovery, or exhibits behaviors that make it unsafe for the community, euthanasia may be thoughtfully considered as the most compassionate, humane and/or safest option for the animal and larger community. In addition, Pet Network’s pledge to care for every animal that we place in a home remains in effect indefinitely - we will always welcome an animal back no matter how much time has passed.
