The past six months have gone by in a blur of activity and success stories. The Pet Network staff has been working tirelessly to increase the number of animals we save from euthanasia. Through collaboration with other rescue groups and with local animal control agencies we have dramatically increased our life saving capacity. That of course wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community! From the outstanding support we receive from local businesses like the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza, Village Square Family and Raley’s (not to mention our wonderful Fur Ball sponsors) to the fantastic support we receive from the dedicated animal lovers within the community, saving animals at Pet Network is truly a team effort. This newsletter is dedicated to everyone who makes our work possible; our volunteers, staff, board, and supporters who have helped us save the more than 6,500 animals since our beginning a few short years ago. We face many challenges as we move forward. Economic hardships, logistical challenges and resource limitations are just a few examples. Our dedicated and passionate board and staff are committed to meeting and beating those challenges. We know the homeless and neglected animals in our community are depending on us to overcome whatever obstacles we encounter. So as you look through this newsletter, think of some way you can help us succeed in our endeavors. Here are just a few ways you can help: Make a financial donation. Each animal we save costs Pet Network around $375, so your donations are much needed and appreciated. Thank you for all that you do for animals in need! |
